I have no intention to blog about my daily activities, but this post is an exception. I finally managed to complete all 6 sides of the Rubik’s Cube today … perhaps 30 years too late! And so, I took this photo to express my joy of achieving the “impossible”. The photo also serves as proof π
Close-up shot with a large aperture to get a shallow depth of field.
Love this! I can’t even come close. My husband can solve it in something like 30 seconds – drives me crazy! Cute photo too π

Cheers, Ashley. I guess it will be another milestone if I can ever solve the cube in 30 seconds too.

Curious as to what kind of camera and lenses/filters you’re using to get all these amazing shots. I’m just starting out and am trying to learn as much as I can. :o)

Thanks for your compliments but you have over-rated me π
I don’t use dSLR. Some of the photos were taken from a Canon PowerShot G11, which is an advanced point-and-shoot camera with plenty of controls. I subsequently upgraded to a mirrorless camera Olympus PEN E-PL5 because I think it’s time to learn to play with different lenses. But till now, I can only afford the kit lens and a wide angle lens. I don’t use any filters. I do some mild editing with Lightroom (instead of Photoshop).
