Barcelona offers a wide variety of colorful and intricate architecture created by Antoni Gaudí. Here is a relatively rare shot of the facade of Casa Batlló at night. This is my submission for Weekly Photo Challenge: Intricate

I agree with angelaseager, always a winner, Jeremy! Great shot. We were there last May, but didn’t get to see the night scene.

Hi Amy, I’ve been spoiled by your regular compliments and for a brief moment I thought you meant the “winner” to be me. How embarrassing, because you gals were probably complimenting the works of the great Antoni Gaudí, of course, lol. Have a nice weekend!

Yees, the winner is Jeremy! That is exactly what I meant. Great shot. Gaudi would be happy with this one. Thank you, Jeremy! 🙂

Thanks, Laura! Actually, I rarely do HDR but I knew I had to do bracketed exposures for this because I wanted to capture what was behind the window too. Glad it turned out ok. Coincidentally, I read your post about HDR a few days back 🙂

You’re welcome! I don’t do it often either but I get on a roll with it sometimes. Keep on doing it! Your processing is unique!

So much interesting art work / architecture in Barcelona, including the work by Gaudí. Very nice shot.

Brilliant shot, perfect for this week’s challenge. Gaudi’s art is stunning, and I thought your shot brought it to life. I hope to be able to see it with my own eyes someday. Don’t know about you or anyone else, but I was staring at the photo and it looks like many eyeballs are staring back at me 🙂

Thanks, Mabel! As usual, you’re always staring at photos longer than anyone else 🙂 btw, are you busy lately? Because you didn’t post last week! Just kidding, bloggers shouldn’t feel obliged to post or follow any time-table.

You are very observant, Jeremy. A while back I told myself not to blog every week – three times a month at most – so I can have a life and time to stare at blogs like yours.
Fret not. There will be a post in a couple of days…bit of a long one but with an extra photo to boot. Thank you for supporting, and I’m looking forward to your next post 🙂

You’re right Jeremy – a night photo is really unusual. I saw it in daylight and LOVE this interpretation!

Hey, Tina! I saw it in daylight too and I love it so much that I went back again the next evening (not in itinerary). Glad you like it. Thanks.
