The Chicago Theatre
The ornate facade of Chicago Theatre. It’s a pity that I didn’t get a chance to go in. The interior design, with elaborate murals adorning the ceiling, is known to be just as ornate as the outside of the building.

Ornate indeed. Love the vivid yellow colour in this one. It is so striking, and I bet you just had to stop to take a shot. Maybe one day when you return you’ll get to go and see what’s inside. New theme and new blog name, I see. Lovely 🙂

haha, thanks for your attention, I guess only you will notice the new theme. But I’m curious … don’t you read most blogs via the WordPress Reader? And if you do, then you are unlikely to see my new theme, right? Or do you always have the habit of visiting the websites directly?

Generally I prefer reading blogs on the blogger’s site. I do read blogs in the WordPress Reader when I’m trying to save internet data (you may or may not know we get data capped/charged more if we go over for internet usage here in Oz). If I know a blog isn’t graphic heavy per post, I’m also inclined to visit that blogger in person directly, so to speak 🙂

Thanks, Lilian 🙂 I’m not exactly sure if this is considered Art Deco, but I think it probably is, just like several other buildings in that area.
