Night Market

Jemaa el-Fnaa @ Marrakesh (Morocco)

Dusk falls on the market square and steam rises from food stalls. Taste, smell, sight, noise … you’re in for a feast of the senses!

Market like this one can be chaotic, and is challenging to photograph. Viewers can sense the taste, smell, noise, and the moment of joy via your lens. The steam rises… adds the atmosphere so very perfectly. Awesome shot, Jeremy!

Yes, besides hawkers, there are also Moroccan dancers, snake charmers and monkey handlers. The monkeys sit on heads and shoulders of laughing tourists, but I guess you will not be impressed because they are taken from their mothers at young age and kept in small cages or in chains. I remember you love monkeys.

You remember well, Jeremy. I do love monkeys and still do. That is so sad, the monkeys kept caged up D: I’d rather not play with monkeys and have them be safe in the wild. Happily I will stick with my playing with my stuffed monkeys.
