Flight Connection

Flight Connection

I think most people will not appreciate this ordinary shot. But, somehow, I am very pleased with it. I shall not say why. Good photos are like good jokes, if I have to explain it, then I must accept the fact that it just isn’t that good πŸ˜›

I would like to thank Tina, Amy, Ann-Christine and Patti for hosting the Lens-Artists Photo Challenges! What a year! Catching a connecting flight at Heathrow Airport is my response to one of the suggested themes: Connection.

well be careful before you ever assume most people will not like the photo. That is projecting with negativity – and then you also got a little defense by saying you do not have to explain it – by using the joke analogy – whew –
Jeremy – this is a fantastic photo and it does speak for itself – and was wonderful for connection –
the lines – the shadow – the man – but then the other men in the distance were just so in the photo – also – the white beams really give this a modern vibe.

Thanks for your remarks! Actually, I like the shot so much that I printed it (and I rarely print) but then someone asked me what is so special to deserve a print, haha. That’s why I did some self-reflection and probably became a bit defensive. I’m glad you share my vision πŸ™‚

oh I get where you were coming from – a comment started it – and in that case – two thumbs up – plus – it really might have helped other readers who might have need to read that – ha.
and I bet this looks nice printed – and looking back again now – you really did grab a very special mood here

I think the lines, shadows, and the people moving toward the same angle really made this photo outstanding. I don’t know how anyone can capture a image like this one while catching a connecting flight? Explain… πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

LOL Jeremy, we all know why it’s a good photo you dog! Personally I see it as a great choice for one of those giant walls at the airport. Wouldn’t that be amazing?! Thanks for joining us this week.

Hi, Jeremy. I love the angles and lines in this shot, which draw your eyes down the hallway. You nailed the perspective and captured the moment in time, freezing it, and reminding us of that time when we’re rushing to make connections. I’m impressed that you took such a great shot at that moment when you’re hurrying to the next flight!

Jeremy, great shot. The black/white caught my eye first. Makes me wonder if the connection was while headed home or somewhere else? Either way, there’s an anticipation in the photo also.
