I just returned from vacation in Santorini (Greece) and I thought the blue domes are quite symbolic. Among all , this is probably the most photographed one and we stayed right beside it, literally! I don’t even need to use my zoom ๐

Envy, J! How was the vacation there?

Hi Adhika! My vacation style (lots of walking/hiking) means that I ended up more exhausted than working ๐ I returned just before the recent Greece crisis and I wonder whether it is tourist-friendly now. Regardless, the Aegean Sea should still be beautiful!

Same here. I spent most of my vacation hiking in nature. Sometimes I wonder why I couldn’t just get 2 nights in an expensive resort for the holiday.
I was concerned with the situation in there when I saw your post. I am glad it was all good! ๐

Actually the Aegean sea was equally blue too, but just couldn’t get into the frame ๐

This is the best Santorini image I have ever seen, Jeremy! Perfect angle and beautiful colors you’ve captured. Great take on, as always. We have spent a week in Banff last week, flying back today. ๐

Hi Jeremy – the city looks so pretty! Do rich people live there or this is just a view of the well preserved houses and the poor ones are out of the sight?

Hi, Ruta! This is the touristy part of the island and most of these white cave houses are for tourists. Perhaps a few villas belong to the rich but I doubt that they live there throughout the year. The average people (mostly in the tourism industry) live further inland, I suppose.
