Keeping Her Distance

Street photography is opened for interpretation based on the viewer’s own thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Why is she keeping her distance?

Lens-Artists Challenge: A River Runs Through It

Pedestrian Scramble

Shibuya Crossing @ Tokyo (Japan)

Thousands of pedestrians cross at the same time from all directions. Chaos ensues when they meet in the middle.

Leading Lines

Dongdaemun Design Plaza @ Seoul (South Korea)

Leading lines need not be perfectly straight. They can also be curved and lead the eye in circular movements.

Wadi Rum (Jordan)

The Wadi Rum desert is known for its Mars-like landscape and I stayed in one of the futuristic pods. The dome window provides panoramic views of the desert and surrounding mountains. Perfect for enjoying the starry night sky too!

First Cliff Walk

Grindelwald-First (Switzerland)

First Cliff Walk does not mean my first attempt to walk on a cliff. It is the name of the lookout platform at First Mountain in Grindelwald, which offers breathtaking view of the Alps in Switzerland. The 4,078m Schreckhorn is in the background.

Probably my favorite photo of 2019.

The Treasury

The Treasury @ Petra (Jordan)

I am guilty of doing this ancient site an injustice by removing its colours, but there are already plenty of those beautiful rose-red images on the internet.
