Morning boat ride on Ganges River
Varanasi (India) is one of the oldest living cities in the world. Boating down the Ganges River during sunrise is a main attraction. The whole place is colorful and chaotic. It is a melting pot where both life and death come together … the sights, sounds and smells are just not for the fainthearted.

Picture-perfect?

Love the way your shots portray the scene, they come alive with colour and hustle and bustle. Looks like a vibrant energy to start off the day.

My, my. What a treat this time round, Jeremy. Five shots and I enjoyed each and every one of them. From your shots, it looks like Varanasi is every bit the bustling city…yet the locals work hard and live hard for a living – everywhere you turn it is packed either with concrete, land, water or people. Amazing street photography. Wonderfully done for each and every shot π

The colors, various activities, and chaos in Varanasi and the river probably is the place most people wouldn’t know where to take a photo. But, you captured the uniqueness of the city and river and made so interesting and wonderful to enjoy. The first one takes viewers to the awaking city, very beautiful! I love the third photo, great composition and angle; to see the artist sitting on a boat quietly to paint is priceless. The last two tell the stories of the city. Brilliant shots, Jeremy!!
