Weekly Photo Challenge: Gone, But Not Forgotten

Running of the Bulls

Running of the Bulls

The bull-run was over in a flash. But the memories remain. This photo was taken during Running of the Bulls event in Pamplona, Spain. This is my interpretation of the theme Gone, But Not Forgotten.

Thanks! It was a very interesting experience. However, I feel that the balcony spots (to watch from 2nd floor) are way over-priced. Free to run, but I probably don’t have the chance to take photos while running. Or I probably don’t have the courage to be down there 😛

Just to clarify … I assume you mean forbidden to take photos (and you don’t mean forbidden to run), right? Thanks for the info … no wonder I don’t see many photos taken from the street level.

Thank you, Laura! Coincidentally, I just replied to another blogger about being on the balcony which was too expensive for just a few minutes. But I cannot complain since I don’t have the guts to join in the run. The balcony was my only option, haha.

Thanks! But you got to run … otherwise the bulls will be charging at you! Just kidding, I understand what you mean by “not running”, Janet 🙂

This is great shot for this week’s challenge. Looks like you had a good vantage point. So many people down there, the ground must have literally been shaking – and must have been very packed. Not too sure if I’d ever attend one of these events – you never really know which way the bull will run! 😀

Thanks, Mabel! It’s a narrow street and the bulls just charge forward aimlessly, so their running direction is quite predictable … you just have to outrun the slowest guy, just kidding 🙂
